Job Description
As a Junior QA/Support Engineer at AlemHealth, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our solutions, which empower access to quality healthcare globally. Your meticulous attention to detail and expertise in quality assurance will directly impact our users' experience, from frontline healthcare workers to patients in challenging markets.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside cross-functional teams to design, develop, and execute tests for our Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) solutions.
Efficiently identify, document, and track software anomalies utilizing bug tracking tools, ensuring thorough documentation and prompt resolution.
Utilize monitoring tools, like Sentry, to track and decipher errors and anomalies in the system.
Probe and troubleshoot reported platform issues, providing comprehensive bug reports while liaising with the developer team.
Undertake exploratory testing to spot usability, performance, and compatibility discrepancies.
Champion QA process improvements, recommending augmentations where necessary.
Stay abreast with the latest in software testing trends and best practices.
Support in the formation and preservation of test data and ecosystems.
Additional Support Ops Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our support operations arm to address user queries, troubleshoot problems, and extend technical guidance.
Diagnose and rectify user-reported issues, escalating intricate challenges to the relevant teams when needed.
Assist in creating support-centric documentation, encompassing knowledge base articles and user manuals.
Engage actively with the support team, collating feedback to continuously enhance the platform's robustness and efficiency.
Maintain an organized catalog of identified platform discrepancies, ensuring meticulous documentation and timely updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's qualification in Computer Science or analogous discipline (or commensurate practical experience).
Solid grasp of software testing fundamentals and methodologies.
Adeptness with bug tracking and test management tools like Linear and TestRail.
Foundational knowledge of SQL with the prowess to script and run queries.
Exposure to automated testing frameworks and scripting languages would be beneficial.
Familiarity with monitoring solutions, specifically Sentry, is desirable.
Robust analytical skills complemented by a keen attention to detail.
Proficient in communication and adept at collaborative efforts.
Skilled in task prioritization with a proven track record of meeting project timelines.
